6 Months

I know I look pregnant when strangers come up to me and ask if I'm having a boy or girl.

Not much is new, I just keep getting bigger. I feel the little boy moving constantly and you can see him punching and kicking my stomach. Ollie and I can now sit around and watch him move from one side of my belly to the other.

Our sonogram went great today. We got a good look at our little man, and all the measurements they took were perfect. When they measured the femur he was in the 80th percentile, so with those long legs it looks like we may have a basketball player. Everything else measured normal or slightly above average, not too surprising when you look at his tall mom and dad.

He is definitely an active little guy; he didn't sit still for the half hour appointment, but we had a blast watching him move, yawn, and flip over. I can't believe we are over half way there.

5 Months

I'm one week into month five and I'm still feeling great. I feel the baby moving quite a bit now, usually when I sit and relax or try to go to sleep. I hope this isn't an indication of the baby's preference to sleep all day and play all night.

We will find out what we are having on Tuesday. I don't know if I'm more excited about finding out the sex or just having the opportunity to see this little one moving around in there. With any luck the baby will cooperate and we can get some good pictures to share with you all.

4 Months and Counting

After watching quite a few girlfriends go through their pregnancies this seems like the best way to keep all our family and friends up to date on the progress of the newest Baby Seymour. I'll try to post monthly updates and pictures of my expanding belly.

We had our four month appointment this week. The baby's heart beat was strong and everything seems to be going well. I'm not sure when it happened but a little belly seemed to pop up overnight; I finally look a little bit pregnant instead of a little bit fat, which is a nice change.

We should officially find out the sex on November 20th, although if the 12 week sonogram is any indication it looks like it will be a boy. Stay tuned . . .
